Recreation Centers

All Lakewood recreation centers will be closed on Friday, Nov. 28 due to limited staffing available to work on a designated City holiday. In the last few years, the city has attempted to keep one center open until noon. This year, all staff will have the opportunity to enjoy this time with their families. Thank you for your understanding.

Lakewood Recreation manages four recreation centers, which feature an array of programs and amenities. Visitors can utilize a variety of exercise equipment, join fitness classes, enjoy pools and splash pads, drop-in for sports or join a league. Holiday Schedule

Carmody Recreation Center

Located at 2200 S. Kipling St.
The center features indoor and outdoor state-of-the-art recreation and aquatics facilities with fitness activities for all ages.

Hours of Operation
Mon-Thu: 5 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Fri: 5 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Sat-Sun: 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Lakewood Link Recreation Center

Located at 1295 S. Reed St.
This family-friendly recreation center features a fitness center, indoor pool with play features, climbing wall and gymnastics center.

Hours of Operation
Mon-Thu: 7 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Fri: 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Sa: 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Su: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Green Mountain Recreation Center

Located at 13198 W. Green Mountain Dr.
This center offers pool and fitness areas, fitness classes, teen room, indoor pickleball, racquetball, basketball, outdoor tennis courts and an outdoor Fitness Court.

Mon-Thu: 6 a.m.- 9 p.m.
Fri: 6 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Sat: 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Sun: 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Charles Whitlock Recreation Center

Located at 1555 Dover St.
The center offers cardio and weight training areas, fitness classes, drop-in sports and indoor pickleball, racquetball and badminton. The pool and sauna are closed.
