Become a Community Sponsor

Healthy communities are stronger communities, and Lakewood Recreation offers events and programs to help people of all ages stay in shape and take care of themselves. Our community partners help keep Lakewood healthy, while reaching a large audience of active individuals.

Recreation and Inclusion Services for Everyone 
Lakewood Therapeutic Recreation is a program for individuals with disabilities offering activities such as bowling, dances, after school field trips, community outings and overnight trips. Therapeutic recreation facilitates inclusion services so that individuals with disabilities can participate in any program or activity.

Community Events
Lakewood Recreation hosts a variety of smaller community events such as Park and Recreation Month and the Trail Running Series.
