Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is allowed pending the approval of a permit through the Lakewood Link Recreation Center. The permit fee is $150 for full Emory or $75 for half Emory. The permit will allow beer, wine and champagne to be served. An additional deposit for rentals where alcohol will be served. This money can be refunded if no damage is identified in the building. Serving of alcohol must end one hour prior to the end of the rental and will be monitored by the rental group.
Set Up/Take Down
It is the responsibility of the renter and is included in the hours of the rental. This includes cleaning and stacking the tables and chairs, trash removal, and dry mop or vacuuming of the floors. *Helium balloons are not allowed in the Emory Rooms, Classroom C or the pool area.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be issued for rentals ending earlier than stated on the reservation agreement. Refund checks will be mailed to the individual who signed the contract within 10 to 14 business days after the event and/or when all conditions are met: non damage to facility, surrounding areas or parking lot, all cleaning, trash removal, externally rented equipment removal, and not exceeding rental time allotments. All refunds and room rental deposits will be made in the form of a check issued by the city of Lakewood. Two weeks notice is required on all rentals.
