Carmody Recreation Center is home to a large aquatics area, which includes an indoor pool, outdoor pool and splash pad. All outdoor pools open Memorial Day weekend. Visit www.Lakewood.org/Pools for the most up-to-date schedules.

Summer daycare and outdoor pool rentals will open starting April 17. Online reservations required for all group visits to the pools. Time blocks are set. $3 per person due upon visit arrival; supervisors free. Reserve Your Days
Indoor Pool
An aquatics complex that features seven 50 meter and six 25-yard lap lanes. The pool includes 1 meter and 3-meter diving boards. The typical water temperature is between 80 and 83 degrees.

Outdoor Pool and Splash Pad
The outdoor pool at Carmody Recreation Center features a shallow-water pool and a large picnic area, making the facility ideal for families. There are eight 25-yard lap lanes available for daily use. The typical pool temperature is between 79 to 85 degrees.
The splash pad features a 900-foot spray pad with 12 exciting features including frog fountain, water cannons, spinny squirt, aqua drop and more!

Pool Rentals
The city offers pool rentals for private events and birthday parties. The rate varies and is dependent on number of swimmers.
