Exhibitions and Public Art

Art Exhibition in Gallery North at Lakewood Cultural Center

COVID-19 Update

The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. As a result, all exhibitions and openings at the Lakewood Cultural Center have been canceled or postponed through at least August 31. Heritage Lakewood exhibitions are on hold until further notice.

This website will be updated with additional art exhibit information as it becomes available. For specific questions, please email Arts Programming Curator Laine Godsey at LaiGod@Lakewood.org.

Public Art

Since the early 1990s, the City of Lakewood has welcomed installations of public art. Thanks to local partnerships and generous donations, the collection now consists of over 50 pieces.

More About Public Art

The City of Lakewood is proud to host ongoing and rotating exhibitions that highlight the work of local and national artists, as well as informative and unique historic exhibitions. All exhibitions are free to the public. Three galleries are located within Lakewood Cultural Center, one within Lakewood Civic Center and two within Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park.
