Enjoy a fun movie night right on your block with this free and portable kit!

Lakewood residents can borrow everything they need to throw a neighborhood movie night. To reserve your kit, select an available date on the calendar below and fill out the online form that will be sent to your email address.

What is included in the kit?

• Projector screen cloth (150”) and stands

Additional information:

• Movies are not provided.
• The kit is intended to be used for gatherings that bring neighbors together.
• A neighborhood group may only borrow the kit once per calendar year.
• When attached to the tripod stands, the screen will be approximately 8.5' tall and 11' wide.
• The projector will not function in daylight. Know what time sunset will be and factor that into your plans.

Policies:

1. The applicants certify the movie will be shown on private, not public, property.
2. Reservations for the movie kit are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. If you plan to block off your street, you will be required to submit a Block Party Permit.
4. The applicant is responsible for fixing or replacing any damaged or lost items to the movie kit occurring while the equipment is in the applicant’s possession.
5. Applicants cannot charge guests for events where the movie kit is used.
6. The applicant reserving the movie screen rental package must:
   1. Be eighteen years old at the time of reservation.
   2. Be a Lakewood resident.
   3. Accept responsibility for the movie kit while the equipment is in their possession.
   4. Attach a photo of a valid state-issued ID when submitting the request form.
7. The movie kit will be picked up at an agreed date and time. It will be returned by 5 p.m. the Monday following the weekend selected by the applicant.

Making a reservation:

• Follow the link below and please select the Thursday immediately before the weekend you would like to reserve the kit.
• The kit will be available for pick up between Wednesday and Friday on the week of your reservation, and must be returned by 5 p.m. on the Monday following the reservation.
• PLEASE NOTE: Choosing the date on the calendar does not complete your request. You will be sent a link to a form that must be submitted before your reservation is considered complete. Thank you!
