Lakewood's Community Resources Department offers hundreds of programs and great facilities for all ages to help you find a new passion, improve your skills, get healthy, stay healthy and have a great time. The possibilities are endless, and by using the Lakewood Possibilities Fund assistance program, you can stretch your dollars further to make the most of what we offer.

Possibilities Fund scholarships are awarded based on household income, and a portion of the registration fee is always paid by the participant. Supporting funds in the amount of 75 percent of the total fee are available. Lakewood Residents that qualify can receive up to $300 scholarship assistance per family member annually based on need and available funding. Once an individual has exhausted their own funds, they may not access funds belonging to other family members.

We are now accepting applications for 2025. Funds must be used by December 31, 2025.

We will begin accepting applications for 2026 on December 15, 2025. Funds will become available January 5, 2026.
