Fiber Feast: A Fiber Arts Exhibition

Next date: Monday, May 27, 2024 | 07:00 AM to Monday, September 16, 2024 | 05:00 PM

Co-curated by Diana Pemberton and Diana Harper, this group exhibition explores the diverse and exciting world of fiber arts. From traditional practices to unexpected sculptural forms, fiber can be woven into the realm of imagination, conceptual investigation, and cultural dialogue. A fine art whose material consists of natural or synthetic fiber, and other components, such as fabric, paper, yarn, woven plastics, thread, and more, fiber art is a media that highlights the materials and the manual labor of the artist/maker. Come experience Fiber Feast: A Fiber Arts Exhibition

Attend our public reception on June 14 from 6-8p.m. at the Lakewood Cultural Center in the North Gallery.
