LCC Presents Huu Bac Quintet

Huu Bac Quach, a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist, masterfully blends his Vietnamese and Chinese musical roots with North American jazz. Playing instruments like the dan bau (Vietnamese instrument), erhu (Chinese fiddle), quena (Peruvian flute), and guitar, his Huu Bac Quintet creates a dynamic fusion, offering an authentic musical dialogue between Asian, Northand South American cultures.

The quintet creates a contemporary style by weaving an ancestral Asian influence with jazz, creating a dynamic creativity showcased by varying instruments.
