A-Z Park List

A sunset takes place over Bear Creek Lake.

Lakewood is proud to offer 114 parks totaling over 7,400 acres of open space, including the crowd favorite Bear Creek Lake Park.

Park goers are encouraged to utilize 240 miles of trails for biking, walking, hiking and horseback riding.

Permanent bathrooms at Addenbrooke, Daniels, Kendrick Lake, Lakewood, O'Kane and Ray Ross Parks are open for the season. Morse park has port-o-lets available all season. Carmody's family restroom will remain closed until further notice.

Bear Creek Greenbelt Park

This 379-acre preserve provides a continuous trail connection and wildlife corridor from Wadsworth Blvd. west to Bear Creek Lake Park. Enjoy wetlands, fishing ponds, riparian forests and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities.

Bear Creek Lake Park

This 2,624-acre natural park hosts over a half-million visits annually! Bear Creek Lake Park offers opportunities to hike, camp, fish, boat, windsurf, mountain or road bike, hit the swim beach or head to the archery range.

Main Reservoir

Peak View Park

One of the city's newest parks, Peak View Park is comprised of 60 acres of open space. Construction is currently underway to develop a parking area and trail system.

Ravines Open Space

12501 West Jewell Ave., Lakewood, CO 80228

Acquired by the City in 1977, the Ravines Open Space is approximately 49 acres and serves two primary purposes including storm water drainage and conservation of open space. Ravines provides remnant, short grass prairie habitat dominated by native and non-native grasses interspersed with riparian habitat along a drainage way.
