Noxious Weed Local Advisory Board
There is one opening for a three-year term beginning in June. This independent board is responsible to the City Council and charged with reviewing and approving noxious weed management plans that are generated based on complaints received from adjacent property owners. It is not responsible for reviewing or approving city operational weed management plans implemented on publicly owned property. Members must have experience in landscaping, agriculture or natural resource management. Meetings occur as needed but typically happen one to three times a year for about two hours.
