Love Lakewood Day
Love Lakewood Day is an annual city-wide volunteer event that engages community volunteers and stakeholders from across the city in meaningful service projects. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Lead organizer, Serve Spot Lakewood, coordinates with the City, schools, nonprofits, faith groups, and other organizations to engage the community in service in their own backyards. The purpose of Love Lakewood Day is to build a culture of local volunteerism in Lakewood, inspiring the community to continue to volunteer throughout the year. In the past years, Love Lakewood Day has brought hundreds of volunteers together to beautify our city.

- Painting at Slater Elementary School with Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design
- Packing food for Meals of Hope at Southwest Community Church
- Beautifying the World War II memorial at Lakewood High School
- Cleanup of 14th Ave with the Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization and Mountair Christian Church
- Mural painting at Mountair Park with 40 West Arts
- Shed assembly and beautification at South Lakewood Elementary School with Colorado Christian University
