West Calahan Drainage Improvements

June/July 2025 Update

• Project elements include construction of new storm sewer on W. Calahan Ave. near the intersection of S. Quay Dr.
• A new inlet will be constructed to capture surface drainage and convey to Sanderson Gulch located between Calahan and W. Mexico Dr.
• A contractor has been selected, and storm sewer construction will begin in mid-July and is anticipated to last through August.
• Initial construction activity will include gas line relocations by Xcel Energy.
• Periodic lane closures are anticipated, although no road closures are expected.
