Lakewood Municipal Court Traffic Fine Schedule

$30 per point + $30 for each prior violation within the last two years +$30 additional for an accident. Plus a 10% victim/witness surcharge and a $35 court cost or processing fee. Fines will double in a construction or school zone. Fines are based on the original charge and not the plea bargain charge.

*This is a suggested fine schedule. All fines are assessed at the judge's discretion. The maximum penalty for a traffic offense is a $1,000 fine and/or 364 days in jail. The maximum penalty for a traffic infraction is a $400 fine.
