Corin Flannigan Full Bio
Judge Corin Flannigan is a Colorado native, having grown up and attended schools in Greeley, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in English Literature, she attended Golden Gate University receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1996. Upon returning to Colorado, Judge Flannigan clerked with the Honorable Timothy Fasing of the 18th Judicial District Court before joining the staff of the Adams County District Attorney’s Office in 1998. Judge Flannigan worked as a Deputy D.A. and a Senior Deputy D.A. for eight years with the Adams County D.A.’s Office handling criminal cases at the misdemeanor, juvenile and felony levels.
After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Judge Flannigan worked as a writer focusing on historical fiction. From 2012 to 2014 she worked in the Aurora Municipal Court’s Problem Solving Court as a probation officer working with women charged with prostitution offenses.
Judge Flannigan is on the board of directors for the Colorado Municipal Judge’s Association and is the chair of their legislative liaison committee. She is the co-chair of the 1st JD Minority Overrepresentation Subcommittee, and a member of the Colorado, Denver, Jefferson County and Women’s Bar Associations. She enjoys travel, the outdoors and playing and watching sports with her family.
