LCC Presents: Skye Consort with Emma Björling

Voices, fiddle, nyckelharpa, cello, bouzouki, banjo and percussion riff on whirling polkas, groovy reels, passionate love songs, breathtaking hymns and original compositions of trans-Atlantic music from Scandinavia, Ireland, the British Isles and French Canada. This ensemble finds enchanting stories and melodies and brings them into the 21^st century in worldly chamber-folk settings.

These renowned musicians play original tunes and ingenious arrangements of Nordic-Celtic-Québecois music, beautifully melding vocals with instrumental texture.
