Show your Lakewood pride and celebrate democracy by designing this year’s official “I Voted” sticker! The City of Lakewood, in partnership with the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office, is inviting community members to create a unique sticker design that will be printed and handed out at Lakewood polling sites during the November election. 

Contest Details 

  • Who can enter: Lakewood residents age 14 and older. 
  • Submission period: Friday, Sept. 12 – Sunday, Oct. 5 at 11:59 p.m. 
  • Winner selection: An internal judging committee will review submissions and select the design that is clear, creative and inclusive.
  • Announcement: The winning design will be announced on Oct. 14

Design Requirements

Please use the button below to download the official sticker template. All artwork must fit inside the printable circle.

  • All artwork must be original work created by you. No stock images, AI-generated art, or borrowed images may be used. 
  • Entries must include the words “I Voted.”
  • Artwork must be nonpartisan and free of offensive language, violence, drug references, gang imagery, weaponry, or other inappropriate content. 
  • Entries may be created digitally or by hand. 
  • Paper entries must be scanned or photographed clearly for submission, or dropped off at the City Clerk’s Office during business hours. 
  • Accepted file formats: .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg 
  • Entries may be used by the City of Lakewood in social media, promotional, and marketing materials. 
  • Participants must grant permission for the City of Lakewood and Jefferson County Clerk’s and Recorder’s Office to print and distribute the design and share the designer’s first name in promotional materials.
