Share your feedback on the future of William F. Hayden Park

Do you enjoy a morning hike on the mountain or riding the trails at Lakewood’s William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain? Maybe you haven’t been to the park lately but want to make sure improved trails or new features are added that interest you. You won’t want to miss the first open house for the Hayden Park planning effort to determine community park priorities and support investment in the park over the next 10 years.

Join staff and the consultant team on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. to celebrate the popular park, review survey results and preliminary concepts, and share your input to ensure the park remains a destination for everyone.

The open house will be hosted at the nearby Jeffco Fairgrounds, located at 15200 W. Sixth Ave. in Golden, offering the opportunity to interact with staff and the consultant team, and enjoy refreshments with your fellow Hayden Park visitors.

Can’t make the meeting? Park visitors and residents are also invited to share stories of how they currently enjoy Hayden Park, sign up for plan updates, and provide online feedback at LakewoodTogether.org/HaydenPlan.
