Need a midweek pick-me-up? Look no further! The Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series returns to Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park (801 S. Yarrow St.), offering the perfect Wednesday night escape. Tickets are now on sale. This year’s schedule offers local bluegrass, high-energy rock ’n’ roll, Latin rhythms, funky blends and fan-favorite Hazel Miller. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music, tasty food trucks, a relaxing beer garden and stunning sunset views from June 18 through July 30.

Season ticket packages offer all six concerts for just $50 and are available while supplies last. Single tickets are $10 when purchased in advance. Gates open at 5 p.m.; the opening act performs at 6:15 p.m., and the headliner takes the stage at 7:15 p.m.

Sounds Exciting! concerts offer music and entertainment for all ages. Tips for enjoying live music in a beautiful outdoor setting:

  • Pack a picnic or enjoy the local food truck fare.
  • Quench your thirst with local beer, cider or wine from the Beer Garden.
  • Save by purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Prepare for Colorado weather; concerts are hosted rain or shine.
