Lakewood offers:

  • Parks: Enjoy the outdoors across 115 parks and traverse over 240 miles of shared-use trails.
  • Recreation: Stay active at four recreation centers and a community center, or hit the links at two golf courses.
  • Arts and Culture: Experience the local creative scene through indoor and outdoor performing arts venues, a museum and visual art galleries.

Volunteer

Volunteering for Lakewood is a great way to get involved, make an impact and meet fellow residents.

Volunteer when and where you can in the area(s) that you're most passionate about. Positions are broad in needs; some have weekday, evening and/or weekend availability. Volunteer positions within city parks are filled in the spring — applications are available during that time.
