About the Event 

Celebrating Lakewood’s agricultural heritage with an entertaining mix of live performances, activities and tasty harvest treats, the annual Cider Days festival offers fun and excitement for the entire family!

This event includes tractor pulls and vintage power displays, wagon and barrel train rides along with other children’s activities, historic demonstrations and a unique variety of exhibitors and vendors. The Cider Days festival wouldn’t be complete without everything apple – including apple pressing, apple cider by the glass or gallon, Apple Annie’s Baking Challenge (Sunday only) and more.

Cider Days hosts the same great experience both Saturday and Sunday, and your admission covers all activities and entertainment.

Pie Eating Contest

Apple Pie Eating Contest

Join us for the annual Apple Pie Eating Contest! Drop your name in the entry bowl anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the gazebo for a chance to participate.

Separate contests for children and adults (12+) feature exciting apple themed prizes. Contest begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday!


Apple Annie's Baking Challenge (Sunday Only)

Apple Annie's Baking ChallengeJoin Apple Annie on Sunday under the Gazebo from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. where amateur bakers will strut their skills in the kitchen and show off their baked apple goodies! Festival attendees will taste the entries and vote on which submission knocked their socks off. Winners announced at noon.

First place bakers will win a $100 cash prize, $100 worth in gift certificates, all sorts of apple goodies & season tickets to the 2022 Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series!

Colorado's Largest Tractor Pull

Tractor Pull at Cider DaysJoin the Rocky Mountain Tractor Pullers Association in Colorado’s largest tractor pull. The tractor pull takes place throughout the festival (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) both Saturday and Sunday.

Colorado Cider Guild Glass

Join the Colorado Cider Guild in Colorado’s largest “Hard Cider Tasting”. Enjoy over 50 delicious hard ciders from around the region and world!

$40 Tasting Package | $15 Designated Driver

  • Must be 21+ to purchase tasting tickets
  • Unlimited tasting and commemorative glass
  • Tickets are sold online and at the box office while supplies last
  • Tasting times: Noon - 3 p.m. & 4-7 p.m.
  • Proceeds benefit the Colorado Cider Guild
  • Children will be permitted to enter with their parent/guardian, but no kids activities will be provided.

Bike to Cider Days

Get $1 off your first cup of cider when you ride your bike to Cider Days! We’ll store it for you for free while you enjoy the festival. Drop your bike at the Bike Valet located in front of Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park (at 801 S. Yarrow St.), and we’ll check it for safe keeping until 5 p.m. both days. See map above for exact location.

All riders will receive a coupon for $1 off their first cup of hot or cold Cider. (Offer not valid for hard cider.)
