Info: First Reading of Group Home Item on City Council Agenda

An item about group homes appears on the City Council’s agenda for a first reading on Monday night. In accordance with the City’s ordinance process, the first reading of an ordinance is only to set the date for a public hearing. One purpose of a public hearing is to take public comment. City Council will determine Monday when that public hearing will occur, and the City Council will only take public comment in person on the group home item at the public hearing.

You also can email your thoughts and ideas about the group home item to City Council members prior to the public hearing as well as appear before City Council during the public hearing to give your comments. City Council contact information is available at www.Lakewood.org/CityCouncil.

Additional information about the procedures used during City Council meetings is available under the Frequently Asked Questions section on the right side of the page at www.Lakewood.org/CityCouncil.
