The city provides sanitary sewer service to an area in the north part of Lakewood.

The balance of the city is serviced by a number of other sewer service providers.  Input your address into the My Neighborhood portal to find your provider.

A Sewer Availability Certificate(PDF, 459KB) must be completed for all new buildings in the city. The certificate is available online or at the Building Permits Counter at Civic Center North, 470 S. Allison Parkway., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Sanitary Sewer Maintenance 

Within the city of Lakewood service area, the Public Works Maintenance Division maintains the city's sanitary sewer mains.  Property owners are responsible for maintaining their private sewer service line from the sewer main in the street to the building.
