During the application process you will begin to see no parking signs placed 24 hours in advance of work being performed.
Once work has begun in your area, one side of the street will be closed at a time to allow the contactor to spray the product down. This product comes out pink until it starts to break, and you will see that the product will start to turn clear. At this point the contractor will apply sand to the road to cover the material up. Once sand has been applied the contractor will open the sanded side of the road and begin work on the opposite side of the road.
After completion of the road the contractor will come back the following day to sweep up the sand on the street.
It is normal for some product to spill onto the concrete. When this happens, you will see a yellowish tint on the concrete. Please allow for some time to pass and the product will fade away. If this remains an issue, please contact the city inspector so the contractor can resolve the issue.
Please make sure to follow all traffic control and flaggers on the project to maintain a safe working environment for both you and the contractor.
You will have access to your home during construction, but we please ask that you avoid driving on the product until sand has been applied or unless instructed by a member of the project.
