Neighborhood Organizations

The City of Lakewood encourages the formation of neighborhood organizations to take an active role in their community. Registered organizations receive notifications about proposed re-zonings and requests for special use permits within or near the organizations' boundaries. Being a registered organization helps to improve communications between residents within the boundaries and the city.  Registered Neighborhood Organizations can take the form of larger neighborhoods, smaller homeowners associations and business organizations.

All registered organizations are required to re-register their organization once a year per city policy.
