A-Z Park List

A sunset takes place over Bear Creek Lake.

Lakewood is proud to offer 114 parks totaling over 7,400 acres of open space, including the crowd favorite Bear Creek Lake Park.

Park goers are encouraged to utilize 240 miles of trails for biking, walking, hiking and horseback riding.

Rent a Park Shelter

2024 reservations are now available. 2025 reservations will be available beginning January 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. MST.

Permanent bathrooms at Addenbrooke, Bear Creek Greenbelt, Carmody, Daniels, Kendrick Lake, Lakewood, O'Kane and Ray Ross Parks are open for the 2024 season. Port-o-lets will be available at Mountair and Morse Parks.

Addenbrooke Park

This park has it all! Walking and biking paths, baseball and soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, picnic shelters and restrooms. There is a beautiful lake with mountain views as well as a horse arena and trails.

Daniels Park

The park is a lovely oasis serving the historic Daniels Gardens neighborhood. Park features include two baseball fields, four new tennis courts, basketball and a ½-mile trail loop.
