Collective Reflection: Honoring the Past, Present and Future Community

The Lakewood Cultural Center, in its first 25 years of operation, has seen diverse community members fill its galleries, classrooms, stage, and audience. The building is not what defines the LCC; it's the people who infuse this space with artistry, creativity, and community.

To celebrate the collective human energy that makes the Lakewood Cultural Center special, the exhibition "Collective Reflection: Honoring the past, present, and future community of the LCC" will feature a collection of performance and program memorabilia alongside dynamic and diverse portraiture. This amalgamation of traditional and visionary artifacts and portraits commemorates and reflects the LCC of the past and present, while inspiring the community to look forward to the future of culture in Lakewood.

There will be an artist reception for this exhibition on Sept. 27 from 6 until 8 p.m.
