City Council Members
Council Priorities: Citizens elect a City Council consisting of the Mayor, who is elected at-large, and 10 City Council members, two from each of the city's five geographical wards. They set the policies for the operation of the City government.
City Structure: Lakewood has a Council/Manager form of government, as established in the City Charter(PDF, 212KB). Some sections referenced in the Charter are also governed by the City Council Policies and Procedures Manual(PDF, 428KB) that helps define how the Council operates.
Meet with Council Members: The public can meet with City Council Members at Ward Meetings. Use My Neighborhood to find the City Council members for your Ward.
