This event is held annually in June.
The Rockin' Block Party is a free community event honoring Lakewood's heritage and its dedicated residents. The event features free museum tours, retro games and activities for the kids, a live concert and concludes with a classic movie under the stars.

Dress Code
Khaki pants, volunteer t-shirt and comfortable shoes. If the volunteer does not have a volunteer t-shirt, one will be provided upon arrival.
Orientation
Orientation will be provided 15 minutes prior to your shift.
Food and Beverage
Coffee, water and snacks will be served from 4-9 p.m.

Performance Assistant
The primary responsibility of the Performance Assistant is to provide exemplary customer service to each patron at the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater by supplying information and assistance as needed. The Performance Assistant helps enforce the policies and procedures established for Lakewood Community Events, including adherence to City and State codes and safety requirements. (Shaded & Stand)

Recycling
Volunteers assist guests in identifying and sorting recyclables from refuse (Shaded, Standing & Sitting)

Gallery Monitor
Volunteer ensures that guests do not bring food and beverage into galleries and those artifacts are not handled. (Climate Controlled & Sit)

Gate Monitor
Volunteer ensures that guests do not exit the gated & fenced area with alcohol as required by the event’s liquor license. (Shaded, Standing & Sitting)

Building Host
Volunteers welcome guests & provide a general overview of the buildings history and answer basic questions. The overview will be provided during the training session. In addition, the volunteer will ensure guests do not bring food and beverage into the building & that artifacts are not handled. (Climate Controlled, Stand & Sit)
