Green Mountain Recreation Center

Tucked into the base of the foothills, this center houses a 25-meter indoor pool, fitness areas with cardio and weight equipment, a cycle studio, a full-size gymnasium with a track, racquetball courts and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts.

Babysitting services are provided during limited hours.

We offer several multi-visit pass and membership options for visitors to save on admission to all of our recreation centers. New passes and memberships can be purchased at the front desk of any recreation facility, and renewals can be completed over the phone.

  • 20% discount on the Body Pump and Aqua Fitness punch cards.

Green Mountain indoor pool is a 25-meter facility housing six lap lanes, a 1-meter diving board and a shallow water area for young swimmers. It houses a variety of programs, including swimming lessons, recreational swim teams and several aqua fitness classes.

 

The typical water temperature is between 80 and 83 degrees.

Pool Rental Information

The city offers Green Mountain pool rentals for private events. The rate varies and is dependent on number of swimmers.

Planning a special event, party or meeting? A room at Green Mountain Recreation Center is the perfect location! The Green Mountain Recreation Center's all purpose gym or multipurpose rooms are ideal for a variety of activities.

Alcohol Policy
 
Alcohol is prohibited.

Set Up/Take Down
It is the responsibility of the renter and is included in the hours of the rental. The facility does not have tables and chairs available. Renter is responsible for cleaning and trash removal after a rental period. 

Refund Policy 
Refunds will not be issued for rentals ending earlier than stated on the reservation agreement. Refund checks will be mailed to the individual who signed the contract within 10 to 14 business days after the event or when all conditions are met including: no damage to the facility, surrounding areas or parking lot; all cleaning, trash removal and externally rented equipment are removed; and the rental did not exceed rental time allotment.

All refunds and room rental deposits will be made in the form of a check issued by the City of Lakewood. Two weeks’ notice is required on all rentals.
