The City of Lakewood offers quality, affordable before and after school care for elementary students in kindergarten through sixth grade. We focus on creating a safe, fun, supervised atmosphere for your child while you are at work.

Register for Classes
The City of Lakewood offers a wide range of programs and levels of financial assistance for preschool-aged children.
Prenatal moms and parents of newborns through age three can participate in Early Head Start, while children ages three to five receive a high quality education in one of our Head Start or Preschool classrooms.
The Lakewood Link Recreation Center is home to a 5,000 sq. ft. gymnastics center that features a trampoline, balance beams, parallel bars and other equipment. Classes and drop-in activities are offered.

$5 per visit
10-visit punch card: $45
Enjoy playing on various pieces of gymnastics equipment, sliding, ball play and various gymnastics activities. This is a drop-in class (no pre-registration). For gym safety and the enjoyment of everyone, there is a maximum capacity of 18 tots per weekday class and 25 on Saturdays. Trained staff will supervise and assist skills, but do not provide structured activities.

The climbing wall at the Lakewood Link Recreation Center offers 2,000 sq. ft. of bouldering, lead and top-rope climbing. Classes and drop-in activities are offered.
