Lakewood introduces new and improved online registration system
Published on November 01, 2023
Nov. 1, 2023 – The Lakewood Community Resources Department offers a wide variety of programs for all ages, and now it is easier than ever to register for your favorite arts, parks and recreation programs online through the new CivicRec registration system and catalog.
The new mobile-friendly platform went live today, providing users with a more intuitive, easy-to-navigate system for browsing and registering for dance, arts and history classes, youth sports, nature walks and more. The system also allows users to filter by age or day of the week and to search for and reserve facilities or campsites, conveniently online.
“We recognized the need for change and are excited to share a better online experience for our residents and visitors,” said Public Engagement and Operations Manager Amber Thill. “The city invites you to explore the new registration system today and let us know what you think.”
To ensure the accuracy of the information in the system and the best experience for all, the city is requiring all users to create a new account online before they register for a program or reserve a facility. To create an account, visit Lakewood.org/Register.
After creating an account, users will be able to easily register for the winter-spring programs beginning on Dec. 5 for residents and Dec. 7 for nonresidents. Users will also be able to manage their accounts, print and view receipts, pay balances and more – all online or from a mobile device. For more information, visit Lakewood.org/Register or stop by any Lakewood recreation center for staff assistance.
