Lakewood Lights the Holidays

Nov. 16, 2023 [LAKEWOOD] – Usher in the holiday season with Lakewood’s mayor and City Council during a lighting ceremony and festivities at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. Lakewood Lights features free entertainment and family friendly activities:

  • Holiday carols
  • Hot cocoa and holiday treats
  • Ornament crafting station
  • Free visits with Santa Claus (3-9 p.m.)
  • Holiday shopping in the Museum Store

Gather your friends, family and neighbors at the Gazebo at 5:30 p.m. for a lighting ceremony that will kick off the holiday festivities. Local choirs will lead carols and spread holiday cheer while cookies and hot cocoa are offered to those in attendance.

Shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts in the Museum Store or craft an ornament while you wait for your free visit with Santa Claus. The historic buildings of Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park will be glowing with lights and open to the public for this special occasion.

Please note that this event is outdoors so dress accordingly. Santa visits will take place in the Visitor Center and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park at 801 S. Yarrow St. and in the surrounding area.
