Four Suspects Arrested for October Homicide

Four suspects are now in police custody for suspicion of committing 1st Degree Murder after a 56-year-old man was shot and killed in October.
At approximately 12:26 a.m. on 10/15/19, Agents with the Lakewood Police Department were called to an apartment complex on the 200 block of S. Teller St. for reports of shots being fired. The victim, 56-year-old Rene Perez, was found in a parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries. It appears at this time that Mr. Perez was the victim of an attempted carjacking.
20-year-old Alec Philippe Destree (DOB: 12/12/98), 19-year-old Dominic Joseph Maestas (DOB: 6/18/00),18-year-old Manuel Garcia (DOB: 7/29/01) and 21-year-old Autumn Lucero (DOB: 5/27/98) have all been taken into custody on suspicion of committing 1st Degree Murder in this case.
