Celebrate Museum Day, an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine, with a free tour of six historic buildings, including Ethel's Beauty Salon. Pre-registration is required.
Guided Museum Tours
Explore Lakewood's distinct past with an hour-long guided tour. Stroll through historic Belmar Park, once home of The Denver Post Heiress May Bonfils-Stanton, as you hear about life in early Lakewood. An experienced guide will lead you through the museum’s historic structures such as the 1930s farmhouse, the 1948 Valentine Diner and the 1920s Country School.
Guided tours leave the Visitor Center at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m., Tuesday - Saturday during March - December. Guided tours are by reservation only in January and February.

Group tours are available. Reservations are requested for groups of 10 or more.
