Camp Paha is a day camp for children ages 6-17 and young adults ages 18-25 with disabilities. We provide programs for campers with all disability types: developmental, physical, emotional, behavioral, and learning. Our campers include individuals with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, fragile X, ADD, ADHD, spina bifida, seizure disorders, OCD, autism, and many other special needs.

Camp Paha offers safe, quality, fun and challenging activities. Camp provides campers and opportunity to participate in aquatics, sports, games, nature, music, drama, hiking, arts and crafts, and field trips into the community.

Camp Paha runs for 7 weeks during the summer, typically mid June through early August. Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. Camp Paha also offers Camp Care hours from 7-9am and 5-6pm (aftercare is not available on Monday evenings due to staff Meetings)

Camp Paha is licensed by the state of Colorado as a school age day care program and accredited by the American Camping Association.

Camp Paha began in 1980 as a Jefferson County Public School program. It has been providing outstanding recreational and educational opportunities for over 20 years. Camp Paha is currently under the leadership of the City of Lakewood’s RISE
