A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE FIRST AMENDED INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE PLAZA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 1 RELATED TO MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES AT BELMAR

WHEREAS, the Belmar development includes features and improvements unique within the City of Lakewood; and

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and The Plaza Metropolitan District No. 1 entered into an intergovernmental agreement on May 14, 2004, regarding maintenance and operations activities affected by the unique features and improvements; and

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and The Plaza Metropolitan District No. 1 desire to amend the intergovernmental agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest an amended intergovernmental agreement, in form approved by the City Attorney, with The Plaza Metropolitan District No.1 related to maintenance and operations activities at Belmar.
           
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on September 28, 2009, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood City Hall, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
