A RESOLUTION

APPOINTING KATHLEEN HODGSON AS LAKEWOOD CITY MANAGER EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 14, 2009, AND APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the Lakewood City Council is responsible for the appointment of a City Manager under the provisions of Article III, Section 3.1 of the Lakewood City Charter; and

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint Kathleen Hodgson as City Manager; and

WHEREAS, the City Council and Kathleen Hodgson have negotiated the terms of an Employment Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1.  The Lakewood City Council hereby approves the Employment Agreement appointing Kathleen Hodgson Lakewood City Manager effective September 14, 2009.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 8 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 27, 2009, at 7 o’clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
