REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
RESOLUTION: 2009-35
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the City of Lakewood to coordinate with Jefferson County on the November 3, 2009 election.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: November 3, 2009, is a designated coordinated election date under state law; and the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder is the coordinated election official responsible for conducting the election on behalf of the participating governmental jurisdictions. The employees of the Lakewood City Clerk’s Office are Deputy County Clerks for purposes of the November 3, 2009 election.
