RESOLUTION: 2008-80
SUBJECT: City of Lakewood City Manager's Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Trust.

RECOMMENDATION: City Council approve and adopt by resolution the fourth amendment
to the City of Lakewood City Manager's Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Trust.
FUNDING SOURCE: N/A
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: City of Lakewood City Manager's Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Trust has been amended to provide for certain mandatory technical tax law changes contained in the final Treasury Regulations under Internal Revenue Code Section 415, effective as of January 1, 2008. The required tax law changes contained in the Amendment will not result in any additional funding obligations for the City, and will not impact the benefits of the participants in the Plan.
