A RESOLUTION
REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FROM, AND CERTIFYING EXPENDITURES TO, JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENT EXPENDITURES OF THE BEAR CREEK LAKE PARK CAMPGROUND FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2005 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2008
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Department of Community Resources applied for and received a grant from Jefferson County Open Space Venture Program; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the project the Jefferson County Open Space Venture Program requires a resolution certifying expenditures from the governing body of the agency that was awarded the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood hereby requests from the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado, reimbursement from Jefferson County Open Space, in the amount of two hundred twelve thousand dollars ($212,000) for Bear Creek Lake Park Campground improvements.
SECTION 2. This Resolution constitutes a certification by the City Council of the City of Lakewood to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the Department of Community Resources of the City of Lakewood has expended two hundred twelve thousand ($212,000) for the purpose of doing some improvements at the Bear Creek Lake Park Campground. This reimbursement is authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space grant awarded to the City of Lakewood for this project in 2005.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council December 8, 2008, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
