A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT (IGA) WITH THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT (RTD) FOR BETTERMENTS FOR THE OAK STREET LIGHT RAIL STATION

WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood desires certain design betterments to the RTD's proposed Oak Street Light Rail Station; and

WHEREAS, The RTD has agreed to certain design betterments; and

WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood and RTD have agreed to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement that outlines the scope of services and responsibilities for the design betterments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, an Oak Street Station Agreement between the City of Lakewood and the Regional Transportation District.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 For and 0 Against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 28, 2008 at 7 o'clock p.m., at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
