A RESOLUTION
APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH COLORADO CODE CONSULTING, L.L.C. FOR THE BUILDING PLAN REVIEW OF THE ST. ANTHONY WEST PROJECT
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony West hospital project will include a significant amount of building plan review requiring specialized knowledge of hospital systems, structural review of multi-story buildings and expeditious review to support the project schedule; and,
WHEREAS, Colorado Code Consulting, L.L.C. has been selected as the most qualified firm to perform the plan review and is available to meet the project schedule; and,
WHEREAS, fees paid to Colorado Code Consulting, L.L.C. will be derived from plan check fees paid by St. Anthony West hospital in an amount not to exceed $300,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Colorado Code Consulting, L.L.C. for building plan review of the St. Anthony West hospital project, in a form approved by the City Attorney, in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($300,000).
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make payment to Colorado Code Consulting, L.L.C. in accordance with the terms of the contract.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 14, 2008 at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
