A RESOLUTION

APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL BUDGET AND AUDIT COMMITTEE.

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council adopted certain budget policies, prior to the November, 2005 sales tax election; and

WHEREAS, chief among the new policies was a commitment to add three Lakewood residents to the City Council Budget and Audit Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The following persons are hereby appointed by the Mayor, with consensus of the City Council, each for one-year term, with possible extension of that term by mayoral decree.

Cindy Baroway ......................Adam Paul.................... Diana Allen
Jon Ludwigson....................... Brian Bissell.................. Zenat Shariff Belkin

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on January 28, 2008, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
