RESOLUTION: 2008-17
SUBJECT: City of Lakewood Employees Money Purchase Pension Plan and Trust Agreement.

RECOMMENDATION: City Council approve and adopt by resolution the amendments to the City of Lakewood Employees Money Purchase Pension Plan and Trust Agreement to comply with the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: In 2006, the Pension Protection Act was enacted. The City of Lakewood Employees Money Purchase Pension Plan and Trust Agreement has been revised to comply with this Act and to implement its provisions.
