ORDINANCE: O-2008-14
SUBJECT: Granting easements to Public Service Company of Colorado for utility lines across Forsberg/Iron Spring Park to provide utility services to the Solterra Development.
ADDRESS: 14600 Block of West Alameda Parkway, south side.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council grant the requested easements.
FUNDING SOURCE: NA
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
An easement needs to be conveyed to Pubic Service Company of Colorado across Forsberg/Iron Spring Park in order to provide utility services to the Solterra Development from Public Service's existing utilities located in the West Alameda Avenue right-of way located north of the Forsberg/Iron Spring Park.
The Department of Community Resources worked with Public Service Company to analyze and locate the utilities lines that would serve the future residents of Lakewood and have a minimal impact on the recreational value of Forsberg/Iron Spring Park.
