RESOLUTION: 2007-34
SUBJECT: Resolution accepting a Special Warranty Deed from Tax Lien Certificates, Inc. to the City for property adjacent to the North edge of William Frederick Hayden Green Mountain Park at the intersection of South Holman Way and South Flora Way.
ADDRESS: Vacant land south of the intersection of South Holman Way and South Flora Way.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of this resolution.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Tax Lien Certificates, Inc. contacted the City staff to inquire if the City would be interested in acquiring this vacant property they purchased through tax sale adjacent to the North edge of the William Frederick Hayden Green Mountain Park. Staff felt this would be a good acquisition because this would provide a good access point to the North side of the park, which has limited access.
