A RESOLUTION

FOR ACCEPTANCE OF A SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED FROM TAX LIEN CERTIFICATES, INC. TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD FOR VACANT PROPERTY ADJACENT TO NORTH EDGE OF WILLIAM HAYDEN GREEN MOUNTAIN PARK AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH HOLMAN WAY AND SOUTH FLORA WAY.

WHEREAS, Tax Lien Certificates, Inc., has tendered to the City of Lakewood a Special Warranty Deed dated May 16, 2007, and recorded on May 23, 2007, at Reception Number 2007059187, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder, conveying vacant land at the intersection of South Holman Way and South Flora Way to the City of Lakewood; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood does hereby accept, for municipal purposes, the aforesaid Special Warranty Deed bearing acknowledgment dated May 16, 2007.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 For and 0 Against at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 11, 2007 at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.

A parcel of land lying in the Southwest One-quarter (SW¼) of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Lakewood, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, more particularly described as follows:

The South 100.00 feet of the East One-half of said SW¼ as described in that instrument recorded at Reception Number 82065461, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder, Except those parcels of land described in those instruments recorded at Reception Number 86013277, 8611137, 86021742 and 86008466, of said records, TOGETHERWITH the East One-half (E½) of vacated South Holman Way as shown and platted on the plat of SIXTH AVENUE WEST - SECOND FILING, the plat of which is recorded in Plat Book 36, at Pages 13 and 14, of said records, said South Holman Way was vacated by that instrument recorded at Reception Number 85114001, of said records.

The foregoing legal description was prepared by Ted Van Horn on April 26, 2007, City of Lakewood, Property Management Division, 480 South Allison Parkway, Civic Center South, Lakewood, Colorado, 80226-3127. This was based on the legal description in that document recorded at Reception Number 2007020277, of said records and the plat of said SIXTH AVENUE WEST - SECOND FILING.
