A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING USE OF LAKEWOOD'S CREDITS PURSUANT TO XCEL ENERGY'S FRANCHISE TO BURY ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION LINES IN THE VICINITY OF ALAMEDA AVENUE IN THE ROONEY VALLEY

WHEREAS, Xcel Energy's franchise with the City of Lakewood provides credits to Lakewood to bury existing electric power lines; and

WHEREAS, the City desires that Xcel bury the electric power line generally located along Alameda in the Rooney Valley.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. Xcel Energy is directed to use Lakewood's undergrounding credits pursuant to the franchise to bury the power line generally located along Alameda Avenue from the east side of the Rooney Valley to immediately east of C-470.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 8 For and 2 Against at a regular meeting of the City Council on May 14, 2007, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
