A RESOLUTION

APPROVING THE ADDITION OF A PRIORITY DESIGNATION OF PARK AND OPEN SPACE ACQUISITION FOR 2007

WHEREAS, Jefferson County Open Space has requested the cities in Jefferson County to recommend high priority park and open space acquisitions; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has placed the property at 5370 West Ohio Avenue on the high priority acquisition list; and

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to add the parcels at 5445 West Ohio Avenue as a high priority for the City of Lakewood.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

The City Council of the City of Lakewood hereby determines the following parcels to be the highest priority for acquisition for park and open space purposes in 2007: Lot 4, Block 1 of the South Sheridan Baptist Church filing Number 2 subdivision; along with Lots 3 & 4 of the Jefferson Gardens Subdivision.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 For and 0 Against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 23, 2007, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
